Rosehip is a real "multivitamin concentrate" - in nature there is no other natural product that is so rich in various vitamins - C, E, B1, B2, K, D, A (carotene), PP, P. By content of Vitamin C rosehip has no analogue in the plant world (500-2500 mg) per 100 grams of fruit. According to the contents of vitamin B1 and B2, it ranks first, and according to the amounts of carotene - second. Rosehip is a rich source of pectin, flavonoids and iron, organic acids (citric and malic), sugars (mostly sucrose, about 2.5%), tannins and mineral salts (about 3.25%), mostly potassium (about 512 mg%). , calcium (about 50 mg%), phosphorus (about 54 mg%), sodium (about 47 mg%) and magnesium (about 122 mg%) salts. It also has a high content of essential fatty acids: linoleic acid - omega 6 and linolenic acid - omega 3, as well as the antioxidant beta carotene.
From the sugars in it there are fructose, glucose, sucrose. It is also rich in starch, proteins, tannins and pectins, nitrogenous substances.
